Catalysts - 6

The day started off with the continuation of the presentations. I noticed the main criticisms made from John and Levi to nearly everyone who presented was determining the scale. They suggested using Adobe Photoshop to add figure(s) to the work, will give a sense of the scale. Also, another comment they made was to learn to use Photoshop, in order to have better quality images. Furthermore, they mentioned about the excessive images of research on the sheets that did not relate to the final outcome.

For my presentation they liked my concept but the model does not show how the house would work, it requires figures. Also, the roof should be kept just plain without the border. This would make the box like house be more minimal, which is the subject I chose for this project, Minimalism.
I personally thought that I should do further research into hidden storages, which I don’t think I have done. I also thought I lacked in researching for the subject area I chose, Minimalism. The model I thought needs improvements, as I thought I could do better.

During the presentations, I noticed quite a few people used a software called Sketchup, to create a digital 3D model. It looks like something I have done on Solidworks for the last project, Sustainable future. This is something I might consider using for the future projects. I could also compare it with Solidworks and see which program I might be better at using.
